DCF Planning and Design were pleased to be asked to provide architectural design and planning services for a replacement NCI Coastwatch Lookout Tower on Teignmouth seafront.
The NCI Coastwatch is a registered charity and provides continuous emergency cover around our coastline.
We are proud to be associated with this valuable and prominent community asset.
DCF first met the NCI over coffee in a Teignmouth café to discuss sketches at Christmas 2012. On the 3rd of June 2013 Teignbridge District Council approved our proposals for planning permission at the committee meeting following a 17/17 unanimous vote.
Construction of the new tower is now complete and the official opening took place 20th September 2015 by the High Sheriff of Devon Admiral Sir James Burnell-Nugent KCB CBE.
